This is a really outstanding device. The battery life is superb. It works better than most others like it and works flawlessly. The software is free and works with most mobile phones. However downloading the trial software may be a bit irksome for the uninitiated. The best part of the LD-3W is that it uses the standard smaller sized Nokia phone charger, so you don't have to carry around a separate charger.
The LD-3w is a SIRFIII GPS, Battery life on the 3W is excellent, and even by chance if you forget to turn off the GPS, you can be sure that it will still be running. The LD series of GPS's in general are great, very portable and packable, no frills units, and you will need a 3rd party application to use in conjunction with them. They are very portable, and you can pack this unit with you where ever you go, or simply pocket it. Sturdily built, it will survive life on the road. |
